Wish Upon A Star is the last Song Of The Week from Series 8 in 2006. This song had a remake for Series 13 by the second generation cast in 2011. It was adapted in the second series of the Philippines subsequent in 2016, and the first series of the Indonesian subsequent in 2017.
The song was also dubbed in Spanish and Portuguese.

- In the Sharing Wishes video and the Wish Upon A Star album, the beginning part of the song's music was excluded.
- The song's line "When you wish upon a star" was referenced from the song of the same name in Disney's movie, Pinocchio.
- This is the last song to feature Kathleen de Leon Jones as a member of the group. Therefore, this is the last song ever to be sang by all of the members of the original lineup.
- In the ending version of Series 8, Tim, Nathan, Kellie, and Kathleen's credits were used with special effects.
- Tim, Kellie and Nathan were fully used with green screen.
- Special effects used to show Tim flying in outer space.
- Nathan in a prehistoric landscape. This prehistoric landscape would be later seen again in “Time Machine”.
- Kellie's credit scene was also green screened, but only on a mirror where Chatterbox can be seen.
- Kathleen's credit scene was done using pausing and editing.
- Charli is the only one whose credit scene in the ending version did not use any type of editing.
