Underwater Discovery is the last Song Of The Week from Series 5 in 2003. This song had a remake for Series 13 by the second generation cast in 2011. It was adapted in the second series of the American subsequent in 2006, the first series of the Philippines subsequent in 2015, and the first series of the Indonesian subsequent in 2018.
The song was also dubbed in Spanish and Portuguese.

- This song includes a nursery rhyme called A Sailor Went To Sea in the lyrics, as a bridge.
- This is the only song in Hi-5 USA Series 2 that isn't a remake from Series 7.
- Because the song was not from Series 7, the opening week theme for the song in Hi-5 USA was reused from Planet Disco. Coincidentally, both are the last songs of Series 7 (Planet Disco) and the American Series 2 (this song).
- Therefore, the week theme from the original "Discovery" changed to "Journeys" in the American subsequent.
