Trivia[]
- This segment holds the record for using the same intro music in the original version from Series 1 to 17. Although the Jup Jup dialogue and other effect sounds are differently placed in other timing, either early or at the end.
- This also counts for Hi-5 House, and the other international adaptation versions.
- However, Hi-5 Fiesta, Chào Bé Yêu, and Hi-5 (Philippines) are different.
- The recording wouldn't count in reality, because the arrangements changed onwards.
- In it's first version, the Series 1 to 7 and the American version are a bit slow. The first series had a extended version, and in the second series and onwards, the extended was omitted.
- Soon in the second version, in post Series 7 and onwards, British version, Indonesian version, and the Hi-5 House has more speed and the arrangements updated, the eighth, ninth, and tenth series returned the extended,. But during onwards, it returned omitted.
- The last version, Series 17 is similar to it's second version but remade.
- This also counts for Hi-5 House, and the other international adaptation versions.
- Shay Clifford is the only Australian-Caucasian member to host the Puzzles And Patterns Segment. Kathleen, Kimee (From Hawaii) and Fely are Filipinos, counting Alex from Hi-5 (Philippines), while Sun and Dayen are South Koreans, all of whom are Asian. Additionally, she is also the only blonde to host this segment.
- This is the only segment where all of the hosts does not change segments from this segment to another. (Like Stevie was a Making Music host until he became a Shapes In Space host.)
Set Description[]
Series 1[]
The set is small. The walls are green and curvy, with a red curve roof placing diagonally. Around the walls are dozens of closet doors with two colors: dark green and light green. The ground has a pink background with the green Hi-5 logo.
Series 2[]
It revamped with a bigger size. The colors are natural rather than bland colors in the previous series. The closet doors are organized almost perfect and are in one color. The diagonal roof is pink. The floor's background has a green background and pink logos, and the wall has the pink background, with green, yellow, and blue logos.
Series 3-8[]
The set revamp a lot. The background is has many closet doors with a color of yellow, green, blue, pink, and purple, and the floors are white with the rectangles and squares. All of the closets and rectangles are outlines with blue and some of them has the logo. There is a window for the wall and sometimes, there are flowers. This also goes for a table attached to the right side but it only appears mostly. In Series 5, the pink closet door on the left side with the purple Hi-5 logo was changed. In Series 7, the colors are oddly different.
Series 9 and 10[]
The set was changed. The blue outlines were now dark fuchsia, the blue elements are now orange, and the flowers updated. And in series 10,the floor is fully white and the rectangles are deducted to three colors: green, orange, and purple (coincidentally the secondary colors).
