Live Action Heroes is the seventh Hi-5 concert, that began on the 18 to the 19th of March 2006 at the The Lowry in Salford, and later toured the United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Singapore, and Australia that year. It was later brought to New Zealand the following year, from the 11th of April in Auckland to the 25th that month in Invercargill, where the tour concluded.
This tour notably marks the last concert tour for Kathleen de Leon Jones, who was pregnant during the first half of the United Kingdom and Ireland tour and had her last shows with the group at the Hammersmith Apollo in London from the 7-9th April, 2006. Sun Pezzimenti, who was then hired as a understudy, took over her for the rest of the tour's run and subsequently succeeded her in Hi-5 from that tour onwards. This was also the last concert tour that Tim Harding participated in as well as a presenter and voice/puppeteer for Jup Jup, as he would later end up in a motorcycle accident in 2007 before the start of the group's next tour, to which the injuries suffered resulted in his departure from Hi-5 later that year.
Furthermore, this tour also marks the last time that Hi-5 would tour the United Kingdom, Ireland and South Africa. For the United Kingdom and Ireland however, these efforts would later be succeeded from 2008 to 2010 with a localised version of the group.

Trivia[]
- This Hi-5 tour marks the first use of digital screen projections as opposed to the projection scrims used in previous tours, and is also the only tour featuring the original members to do so.
- Furthermore, the projections used mostly recycles visuals, animations and transitions from past seasons, in combination with new animation done by ZSpace. These aforementioned animations include Songs of the Week introductions from Series 7 (which this tour mostly represents), transitions from Series 3 and opening animations from Playing Cool.
- Speaking of new animations, the tour also marks the first formal public usage of the opening theme animation used on Series 8, even before its actual debut in the series.
- Though not a full member at the time, the South African, United Kingdom and Ireland stops of the tour marks the only shows in the region to feature Sun.
- The New Zealand leg of the tour also marks the last shows in that region to feature Charli as a presenter, alongside Tim.
- In a 2006 radio interview with Alan Jones, the tour was supposed to expanded to other Asian countries including the Philippines, Hong Kong and a return to Malaysia, but these plans were never materialised.
- A shortened mini version of this tour would later travel across several small suburbs in Australia and was dubbed as the "Super Active Tour". It was from that point that Tim barely appeared on stage with the group, and was substituted by Noni McCallum and later Stevie Nicholson, the latter who would officially take over from him in Hi-5 later that year. One of these shows in the Hunter Valley would later be recorded and placed as one the main features on the 2007 Promo DVD.
- The stage backgrounds on this tour utilises the cartoon designs of the members from the cover art from the WOW! album.
