Lachlan "Lachie" Dearing (born 15 November 1997) is well known for his talent in dance and singing, which has led him to appear as a finalist in Australia's Got Talent in the pop sensation group Dapper (2013) and winner of Young Talent Time (2012). He is a new Hi-5 member since 2016, Lachie has defined for Season 17. He replaced Stevie Nicholson in early 2016 and he was meant to be part of the Hi-5 House cast, but the same year he was the only member to still be part of the group when it became the original Hi-5 series again. He has blue eyes and blonde hair. Lachie is no longer part of Hi-5 in October 2018, his predecessor (Stevie) returns for his last appearance in the new Hi-5 Supers tour in December of the same year and November 2019.
Lachie loves to wake board surf and do loads of other water activities. He enjoys doing this with his best friend Jayce Casaceli. He also enjoys CrossFit, surfing and going to the gym.

- Lachie and Javi are the only Shapes In Space Segment owners to play Jup Jup. Tim, Curtis, Chris and Ainsley, the Making Music Segment owners, all previously played Jup Jup.
- Lachie was the new voice actor of Aristotle, replacing Stevie Nicholson, who previously played Aristotle in Hi-5 House.
