Trivia[]
- There are animation adaptations that has based on the Australian versions.
- The Hi-5 USA theme was based on the version from Series 4 to Series 7. Chào Bé Yêu reused the Series 7 version but the animated characters are black haired.
- The Hi-5 UK theme was based on the version from Series 8 to Series 10. A Chinese rip-off, Hi-Fly, also used the same version.
- The Hi-5 Philippines version was based on an adaptation version, Hi-5 Fiesta.
- Hi-5 Indonesia was based on the Hi-5 House version.
- While every theme intro has the cast in their real-life form, the intro from Series 17 is the only one not to have the live-action form of the cast.
- In the first ten seasons, clapping sound effects were included during the chanting. This is due to the fact that in the intro of the first three seasons, the chanting involves the members clapping each other's hands. Starting from Series 4 until Series 10, the chanting sequence now involves a close-up of the members in live-action form one by one, while the clapping sound still plays. This sound effect was removed when the theme was recorded for Series 11.
- Series 6, Series 13 and Hi-5 House Series 3 are the only seasons to re-use the intro of a previous season without any changes.
- In the first ten seasons of the Australian series, the original recording is used, despite the latter two having cast replacements.
- This also goes for Hi-5 House, using the second generation recording.
- Hi-5 House has its own recording of the theme song, but it was unused and scrapped for unknown reasons.

- The live-action cast from Series 11 was changed in Series 12 and Series 13.
- This also happened in Hi-5 Indonesia but the zoom is still the same, but rarely the version has got brighter.
