Hi-5 Playtime! Concert is the ninth Hi-5 concert, that began on the 25th of October 2008 in Newcastle, and continued to tour Australia until the 22nd-23rd of November that year in Sydney.

This tour notably marks the last concert tour of Kellie Crawford and Nathan Foley, who announced their formal departures from the group during the tour's run. Sun Pezzimenti also makes her last touring appearance in the group for this tour, which would be announced only a month after the tour's conclusion, just before her official last live performance with the group at Carols By Candlelight with Kellie and Nathan. This tour also marks the first appereance of Casey Burgess.

This is also the first Hi-5 tour to be filmed in its near entirety, with one of the shows being recorded and later released on DVD as "Hi-5 Live!" on April 11th, 2009.

• This tour marks the first Hi-5 tour since Jump And Jive With Hi-5: Live In Concert to only tour across Australia.
• This tour marks the first official performance of Natalie Duarte as Chats, who would continue performing the character in the following year in Series 11.
  • This is also the last tour where Noni McCallum performs Jup Jup, through pre-recorded audio only.
• During several shows, a tribute featurette for Nathan and Kellie was played on the jumbotrons, which were also included later in the DVD release of this tour as a bonus feature.
  • The final show of the tour in Sydney featured the aforementioned two members delivering their farewell messages before Give Five, as opposed to the encore call given by Chatterbox in between that song and Jump and Shout. They were also being presented with flower bouquets from the crew at the end of the performance.
• Helena Harris was in presence at the final show of the tour in Sydney.
