  • This series was filmed from November 2001 to January 2002.
  • After this series was filmed, Hi-5 USA started filming their first series while the Australian cast went on tour. [1]
  • The songlet, You Can't See Me, has been remade and used for Series 4 and 6.
    • But Series 4 has been shortened as the first verse was omitted while the Series 6 has the complete version.
  • There are Songs of the Week titles that are referenced in the opening theme:
    • There are no namesakes. “Inside My Heart” (As "Inside"), “Going Out” (As "Outside"), “E-N-E-R-G-Y” (Not counting the dashes), and “Reach Out” (As "Finding Out") have some words in their titles referenced. This is the first series to have no namesakes in the Song of the Week titles.
  • It was in this series that Hi-5 began to have more props, including costumes and a brand-new intro.
  • The costumes from Series 4 songs, “E-N-E-R-G-Y” and “Hand In Hand”, were similar to Hi-5 USA Series 1 songs for “Ready Or Not” and “North South East And West” respectively.
