- The song has been changed a little bit for the album version:
- The line "Are you ready? Are you ready for some fun? 'Cause we're going out" at the end of the song was sung 8 times on the album and 4 times in the TV show.
- In the album, the line "Are you ready? Are you ready? Let's go!" was sung at the beginning of the song, unlike in the TV show.
- In the album, the girls sang the line "Catch a wave" in a slightly low pitch. In the TV show, they sang that line in a slightly high pitch.
- Tim is the only one to not wear a red beret in the song.
- According to Tim, this song was originally called “Heading Out” but the lyrics were eventually changed because someone suggested that this might have connotations to illicit drug use. Therefore, the song title was changed to “Going Out”.
