Dayen Allender (née Zheng; born 15 January 1990 in Busan, South Korea) was a cast member of Hi-5 House in 2013. She debuted on tour in 2012. Her last performance was at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore.
Biography[]
Dayen was born in South Korea, but was raised in North Queensland, Australia. She trained as a ballerina for 6 years, studying at the Royal Academy of Dance Syllabus.
Departure from Hi-5[]
Dayen Zheng announced that she would be leaving the group in December 2016, along with Mary Lascaris, Tanika Anderson and Gabe Brown, after the Hi-5 Fairytale concert tour.
After Dayen left Hi-5, she founded and opened Blue Lagoon Bar at The Esplanade in Cairns, Queensland in 2018.
On 15 May 2019, she and her then-fiancé, Nathan Allender, gave birth to a baby boy, named Conner Peter Allender. They both officially got married in May 2021, where the soundtrack to L.O.V.E. was played during their wedding.
Personal Life[]
Dayen likes tigers and her nicknames are Dee and Diesel. Her favourite colour is blue. She listens to all kinds of music. The Harry Potter series is her favourite book.
